Jannik, a 39 year old former marathon runner is bound to a wheelchair. Jannik has planned a way out of his misery. All he has to do now is give his brother, Morten, a final good bye. Even though his brother Morten is characteristically irresponsible and lazy, he surprises Jannik by making an effort to support him, in his own peculiar way. Their bond as brothers reemerges as they reflect upon their childhood memories.

IL FISCHIETTO – Dir: Lamberto Sanfelice – NARRATIVE - 0:15:00 – ITALY

The Whistle tells the story of Giulia, a ten-year-old girl coping with the loss of her parents. Giulia suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and has difficulty accepting the harsh reality she has to face. She detaches herself from her surroundings and does not seem to be able to communicate with the people around her. Giulia's only friend is her dog, who we only later find out is a mental projection: the dog,named Elliott, was also in the car with her parents at the moment of the fatal accident.

That so-called 1/92 Law is being used as a pretext by an incompetent policeman to mistreat two women that arrived to the police station to press charges and report a rape. But the officer is more interested in gambling in a horse competition than doing his job.
